Korte synopsis:
Filmmaker Jack Janssen laat zien hoe gedurende het turbulente, afgelopen jaar de bouw van de mooiste moskee van Nederland op een fiasco uitliep. Het ene conflict stapelt op het andere en zelfs na een juichende minister Donner op de inwijdingsceremonie gaat het nog fout.

Filmmaker Jack Janssen shows how, during a turbulent last year, the building of the most beautiful mosque of the Netherlands ended in a failure.
One conflict follows after the other and even after a cheering congressman at the inauguration ceremony it still goes wrong.
The Aya Sofya remains an illusion, an empty excavation.
Central in the film is the young entrepreneur and since 2004 chairman of the mosque, Fatih Dag, in his never ending battle for the mosque in the West.
