For the fourth year running, Imagine Film Festival is proud to announce a unique opportunity to accelerate your fantastic film project. During this year’s Imagine Film Festival (11-21 April), up to eight Dutch and Flemish projects will have the opportunity to pitch themselves in front of an international jury. The best pitch will be awarded a place the Frontières International Co-Production Market in July.

The Imagine Film Festival and Frontières collaborate for the fourth year running on a unique project to support Dutch fantastic film projects.

Pitch winners in 2015 were Colinda Bongers and Thijs Meuwese. Their first feature film, Molly, had its international premiere at Imagine 2017.  Richard Raaphorst, winner in 2016, is busy working on the preparation of his second feature The Profundis. The same goes for Jan van Gorkum, who won the contest in 2017 with The Cleaner.

During this year’s Imagine Film Festival (11-21 April), up to six Dutch and Flemish projects will have the opportunity to pitch themselves in front of an international jury.

The winning pitch will participate in the Frontières International Co-Production Market (20-23 July), part of the Fantasia Film Festival in Montréal and the only co-production market in North America for fantastic films. As part of the package, there are two round trip tickets for representatives of the project.

Producers and directors are invited to submit their fantastic film project before the 23th of March 2018. The project selection will be announced on the 30th of March. The pitching session takes place on Wednesday 18 April during the Imagine Film Festival.
