Clermont Ferrand Filmfest 2018: Call for Entries

The Maison des Scénaristes, in partnership with 40th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (from 2nd to 10th of February 2018) will be holding 2 Morning Meeting Sessions “From short to long”. 15 selected authors will get the chance to pitch their short film project during one-on-one meetings with producers. Short film script (free subject) should be sent in French or English language only.

Selected authors will be granted a free Accreditation to the festival.

ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 1st 2017 AT 23h59 (FRENCH TIME)

This year the scripts’ downloads will be done thru  WeFilmGood. the Maison des Scénaristes’ Author-Producer meeting hub. This hub allows us to centralize the managing of many projects that we receive and pay our readers and to assure a triple reading of each project.

You have Two options to present your project:

Option 1 You want only live « one-on-one » meetings in Clermont FilmFest.

Option 2: You want live «one-on-one » meetings in Clermont FilmFest AND “on-line” meetings with a network of more than 280 producers all year long.

Whether you choose either option 1 or 2, you will have to send through the WeFilmGood hub both – your script and – your CV  in the same .pdf document.

If your project is selected, we will ask you to send us a videopitch of your short film project, In French,  English or both: maximum duration: 1’30”  (acceptable video formats include webcam and cell phone recordings – no editing, no special effect – maximum size 300 Mo).

The video-pitches selected will then be made available for viewing by producers who will be attending the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival in 2018 via secure private hosting on our site. Neither Maison des Scénariste nor WeFilmGood share scripts received to producers.
